FULL TIME

BASIC qualifications 

  • Dancers must be 9-18 years old as of January 1, 2025 

  • Must be currently taking at least six hours of dance class a week (preferably more) 

  • Must be presently training in at least one full-hour ballet class a week (preferably more) 

dancer expectations

  • Consistent technical skills that are above average of nationwide dancers in the given age category

  • Above-average muscle strength AND flexibility

  • Clear understanding of muscles for movement

  • Strong stage presence

It is imperative that our families thoroughly read through the Full Time Information Packet. This packet contains an enormous amount of detailed information that every dancer and family must know before moving forward with the audition process.

steps to audition

After thoroughly reading through all of the requirements above, if you think your dancer would be a good fit for our Full Time Company, please see below how to proceed with the audition process.

step 1: submit form

  • This document must be filled out by the dancer, not a parent or guardian. 

  • You will receive an audition confirmation email 2-3 business days after submitting. This email will also include further information on the audition process.

Dancers interested in Full Time Company

step 2: preliminary auditions

MONDAY, JUNE 10TH

4pm-6pm: Ages 9-12

7pm-9pm: Ages 13-18

*Ages are determined as of January 1st, 2025

 

Audition Fee:$30

Immediately following the preliminary audition for each age group, families and dancers will receive an email with a list of dancers who have been selected for call back auditions. 

step 3: CALL BACK auditions

Dancers who are selected to continue in the process after the preliminary audition must attend 3 weeks of classes with current full-time company dancers where they will be observed and evaluated by directors. During the observation weeks, each family will be required to schedule a meeting with company directors, dancers and parents.

Attending these weeks DOES NOT GUARANTEE a position on the team.

CALL BACK CLASSES

June 11th - June 27th 

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday Evenings | Times TBD 

Classes: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Turns & Leaps

step 4: team selection

Team selections will be emailed to dancers and parents on Friday, June 28th.
